Maintain Your Aid Eligibility

If you still owe an account balance and/or if you completed a Financial Aid Agreement Promissory Note to extend your account due date please review your student account, financial aid status, and financial aid student requirements on GoldLink. Please follow up with the Office of Financial Aid. You will not be able to pre-register for classes if you still owe ETSU.

New Financial Aid Student Requirement coming: When you click on Financial Aid Status there will be a new “Student Requirement” stating that you have read the ETSU Office of Financial Aid Policies & Procedures and the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP). Once you have read the Policies you can click submit. This requirement must be completed and submitted before you can sign the Financial Aid Agreement Promissory Note (FAAP Note) o rConfirm Your Registration each semester. Be sure to log into GoldLink and check your Financial Aid Status in November and thereafter frequently!

You will need to maintain SAP and be in good standing to be eligible for financial aid including the Lottery Scholarships. Students are required to earn 67% of the total hours they attempt in fall plus spring semesters.
Students may only receive federal financial aid funding for one repeat of a previously passed course. For further information read your SAP Policy.
Consult a Financial Aid Counselor in the Office of Financial Aid before dropping or withdrawing from classes. It may affect your aid eligibility!
Your academic progress will be checked at the end of each semester for all of your aid eligibility, including the Lottery Scholarship. Don’t Lose Hope!
